In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations: managing slab inventory, sourcing competitive wholesale material pricing, and ensuring seamless scheduling. Slab & Remnant Inventory Control: Manage physical warehouse layout and digital records for full slabs, partial remnants, and installation consumables (blades, epoxies, sinks). Perform routine physical audits to match virtual counts. Vendor & Purchase Management: Issue purchase orders (POs), coordinate prompt delivery of quartz and natural stone to the shop, and aggressively negotiate distributor pricing to maximize company profit margins. Cross-Department Logistics: Collaborate closely with templaters, CNC/saw operators, and installation crews to ensure the correct material is staged, defect-free, and ready on time for every scheduled job. Required Skills & Qualifications Financial & Analytical Focus: Strong math skills for processing takeoffs, measuring square footage, identifying scrap yields, and hunting for the best vendor price points. Physical & Spatial Awarness: High attention to detail; ability to organize heavy physical inventory logically and work comfortably in a fast-paced shop/warehouse environment.
