This role leads a team supporting inventory analysis, cycle counting, material coordination, and related material functions while driving inventory accuracy, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. The Materials & Inventory Manager position is responsible for maintaining inventory and storage location integrity, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring effective execution of dock-to-stock, put-away, replenishment, staging, material consumption, and backflush activities. The Materials & Inventory Manager partners closely with the Material Flow Manager and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies, manage nonconforming and blocked materials, and support uninterrupted production operations. A key focus of this role is strengthening inventory control processes and leveraging SAP/ERP capabilities to improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency. The Manager will lead the development and implementation of an enhanced cycle count program aligned with Finance requirements, with the goal of achieving sustainable inventory accuracy and reducing reliance on annual physical inventories. The Materials & Inventory Manager also ensures compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, safety standards, and audit expectations while promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across material operations.
