Materials Handler

Position Summary Maintain and organize outside storage of raw materials. Stage materials for operations to run in order needed as you release orders for them. Essential Duties And Other Responsibilities Promotes a safe and accident-free workplace. Maintain organization in designated areas. Stage material for shop use Release workorder based on shop need Makes inventory movements as product mover through the shop. Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked and issued. Safely drive and operate a forklift Safely Operate overhead crane. Education And/Or Experience High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three-month related experience and/or training preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to always maintain an upbeat and positive attitude. Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment. High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office. Must be able to interface with others in a professional manner. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret CST and customer prints and documents. Ability to write routine reports in a professional manner. Mathematical Skills Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole, fractional and decimal numbers. Reasoning Ability Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation. Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions. Computer Skills Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Knowledge of ERP systems (D365) Preferred Physical Demands Walk, must be able to move about inside the manufacturing and office and occasionally on a construction site or outside of the manufacturing facility. Use hands/fingers to feel, must be able to operate computers, machinery, dimensional equipment. Sit and stand, must be able to work at a stationary desk that may require sitting or standing. Standing on concrete floors and uneven terrain will be required frequently. Climb and balance, must climb stairs and ladders. Stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl. Talk/hear, must be able to communicate with operators and management frequently and exchange accurate information. Lift and carry weights of 50lbs or more.
