Position Summary The Material Coordinator is responsible for operational tasks performed in the warehouse; issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating and placing items in the appropriate bin locations and assist with providing security controls of materials held in inventory. The incumbent performs operational tasks at the warehouse facilities associated with inventory operations, critical capital spares, and staged material. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Assist with documentation preparation for international shipments. To include but not limited to BOL’s, commercial invoices, shipper’s letter of instruction, Carnet applications, Shippers Export Declarations, packing slips and other items as required based on individual shipment needs Process all paperwork accurately, efficiently and carry out all shipping transactions in a timely manner Assist with creation and compliance of certificate of origin/manufacturers affidavit documents Coordinate shipments with the company’s approved freight forwarders and carriers Work with internal customers to provide freight quotes and international support Research import document requirements for other countries outside of the US Ship items as required for domestic/international shipments Knowledgeable of ITAR controls and documentation requirements. Receives parts. Inspects all material received for proper quantity, condition and documentation according to purchase orders, drawings, manufacturers' specifications, FAA regulations, and/or other specifications. Inspects all incoming products and consumables as described in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual. Reports Suspect Unapproved Parts (SUPs) to the Quality Leader. Verifies MSDS and company approval on all hazardous materials received. Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills Ability to perform in a dynamic and high-energy environment with the capability to simultaneously managing multiple projects with demanding schedules Excellent written and verbal communication skills Teamwork skills Attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods of time Math and analytical skills Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications Excellent time management skills Education High School Diploma 1-3 years related experience Other Qualifications Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include Must be a US Citizen Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
