Bush Specialty VehiclesPosition Summary The Materials Coordinator is responsible for the receipt, storage, organization, movement, and distribution of materials and vehicle inventory within the warehouse and manufacturing areas. This role ensures materials and vehicles are efficiently handled, accurately tracked in the ERP system (Great Plains) and available at the point of use. The position supports manufacturing operations and evolves across three levels (I-III), increasing in responsibility, complexity and leadership. Materials Coordinator I Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Physically unload trucks and store materials in appropriate locations. Electronically receive materials into the ERP system (Great Plains). Identify suitable storage locations and maintain location control. Ensure proper chain of custody until materials leave the warehouse. Use established methods to group materials into kits for transfer. Physically move kitted materials to designated installation areas. Update the M1000 BOM Sheet with material status, order details, and PO numbers. Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage environment. Care for and store materials to protect company investments. Provide assistance to Materials Coordinator II when primary duties are complete. Support other business needs as required. Materials Coordinator II Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform scheduled cycle counts and report accurate data. Receive and check in chassis/vans, adding key tags and window stickers. Log vehicle inventory in the Truck Inventory log. Make urgent runs for parts to support production. Stage completed units for delivery, including fueling, plating, and positioning. Maintain orderliness, ensuring materials and vehicles are properly stored and identified. Provide assistance to Materials Coordinator I when needed. Assist with other business needs as required. Materials Coordinator I Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in warehouse operations or inventory management preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems; Great Plains experience a plus. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift/pallet jack preferred). Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Materials Coordinator II Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent. Warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience required. Strong attention to detail and record accuracy. Proficiency with ERP systems; Great Plains preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (certification preferred). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Physical Demands and Work Environment (All Levels): Regularly required to lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching in a warehouse setting. Operation of warehouse equipment with adherence to safety protocols. Exposure to varying temperatures, noise and dust. Working near moving mechanical parts and warehouse machinery. Must follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
