Material Truck Driver (Transfer, Bottom Dump & Pneumatic) Location: Visalia, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + overtime + benefits About the Role We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Material Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position involves more than just driving—we’re looking for a professional who understands the safe and efficient transport of aggregates, cementitious materials, and bulk products. You’ll be responsible for operating transfer trucks, bottom dumps, and pneumatic trailers, ensuring timely deliveries, proper material handling, and excellent service at plants, job sites, and customer locations. Key Responsibilities · Safely operate transfer trucks, bottom dump trailers, and pneumatic tankers. · Load, transport, and unload aggregates, sand, gravel, and bulk cementitious materials. · Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine equipment checks. · Ensure proper loading, weight distribution, and securement of materials. · Operate pneumatic systems for loading/unloading bulk materials when applicable. · Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and job site crews. · Maintain accurate delivery tickets, logs, and required documentation. · Keep equipment clean and in good working condition. · Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations. Qualifications · CDL Class A required with clean driving record. · Doubles/Triples and Tanker endorsements required. · Minimum 4 year of experience operating Class A commercial vehicles required. · Experience with transfers, bottom dumps, or pneumatic trailers required. · Strong understanding of safe loading/unloading procedures and weight limits. · Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues. · Good communication and time management skills. · Ability to climb, lift, and safely maneuver around trucks and equipment.
