This role leads planning and logistics teams, manages inventory and material flow strategies, and ensures alignment between supply chain operations and business objectives. The position requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to drive operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Manage material planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, and material flow operations to support production and customer demandLead and develop MP&L personnel, including analysts, planners, and logistics staff, through coaching, training, and performance managementEnsure material availability aligns with production schedules, inventory targets, and operational requirementsMonitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, material availability, freight costs, and on-time deliveryCollaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, logistics, and demand planning teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain alignmentOversee inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess inventory, minimize shortages, and improve inventory turnsIdentify and resolve operational issues related to material shortages, supply disruptions, logistics delays, or planning constraintsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, process efficiency, and supply chain performanceMaintain accurate data and reporting within ERP and planning systems to support operational decision-makingSupport Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and integrated business planning processesEnsure compliance with company procedures, inventory control standards, and operational policiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities related to MP&L operationsRequired Qualifications:Required Education & Qualifications5+ years of experience in material planning, logistics, inventory management, supply chain, or operations managementPrior leadership or supervisory experience requiredStrong understanding of inventory management, logistics op…
