Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Material Planning Analyst to join our supply chain and manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will drive efficient materials management, optimize production schedules, and ensure seamless coordination across procurement, logistics, and manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help maintain optimal inventory levels, support demand planning, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Duties Develop and maintain accurate material plans using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to support production schedules and inventory control. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely purchasing of materials, managing supplier relationships and contracts effectively. Monitor logistics and warehouse operations to optimize inventory management systems, ensuring materials are available when needed without excess stock. Utilize spreadsheets and advanced Microsoft Office tools to analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production data for continuous improvement. Coordinate cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, and supplier teams to align production planning with demand requirements. Conduct regular reviews of inventory management practices, implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Support the implementation of materials management strategies that enhance supply chain resilience and streamline procurement processes. Skills Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for material planning, procurement, and inventory management. Strong understanding of logistics inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain management principles. Experience with manufacturing company operations, including production scheduling, materials management, and warehouse logistics. Technical proficiency in spreadsheets, data analysis tools, and inventory control systems to support decision-making. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and suppliers. Knowledge of contracts management, procurement processes, and supplier management experience. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, MRPs (Material Requirements Planning), and inventory management best practices.
