What You Get To Do Geographic Scope: plant specific Number of colleagues directly reporting to this job: 0 Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Review, Plan and Monitor customer inventory, purchase orders and reporting. Analyze inventory data to manage orders to Min/Max levels Assist with Vendor Managed Inventory Programs and Atlas Maintain BDN, CPS, and active items in the system Maintains purchase orders on Internal and External PO logs and distributes to appropriate personnel. Updates SAP as needed. Determines disposition of film identified on monthly old and obsolete stock inventory reports; manage raw material inventory levels first in, first out (FIFO). Prepares monthly charts on aged inventories and distributes to appropriate personnel. Coordinates the transfer of required raw materials among the plant operations where required. Assists in resolution of materials inventory location problems. Assists with Cycle Counting and Inventory Management Enters orders, data, in SAP as needed to support customer orders and production schedules. Oversees material management for the facility to include new production to meet production schedules and confirms order acknowledgement. Manages material requisitions for each order and manages oversize stock usage and allocations. (Films and WIP materials) Manages raw material claim management, data entry, communication and closure. Provides updates to departmental key performance indicators (KPI’s) on a regular basis. Acts as a back-up to other Scheduling/ Planning positions as needed Act as a back up to SMS and SAP Develop standard work and training plan Monitor work and provide feedback Develop consumable supply strategy Maintain tools for understanding demand Manage min/max and reorder points based on usage Manage and maintain film supply Monitor usage and suggest/implement safety stocks Develop standard work Own aged inventory reduction for relevant materials Investigate aged inventory and identify opportunities for usage What We Value Must have effective communications skills, both oral and written, to successfully interact with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Interplant customers, other Planners and all co-workers.
