MATERIAL HANDLING TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Material Handling Technician Position Reports to: Receiving Lead Status: Full-Time Schedule/Hours Expectation: 7:00 am-4:00 pm Location: Gunnison, UT Position Summary The purpose of the Material Handling technician is to assist with packaging and pulling supplies for delivery to the floor for production; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of supplies are correct: verifying stock and identifying losses; and maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment. Attention to fine detail. Job Duties & Responsibilities Maintaining and updating inventory records. Receiving shipments from vendors. Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures. Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, and merchandise. Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to walk for extended periods of time. Pull material following First In First Out methodology.
