Material Handler – Warehouse / Manufacturing

Job Overview We are hiring dependable Material Handlers for a manufacturing facility in Somersworth, NH. No forklift certification is required! Candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided, with possible forklift certification in the future. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. Available Shifts & Pay Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $20.48/hr (3 openings) Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | $19.50/hr (2 openings) Day shift schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts – 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, including every other weekend. Key Responsibilities Receive and transport materials to production areas, warehouse locations, and storage areas. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Safely operate pallet jacks, strappers, and balers. Perform routine equipment and safety checks. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and spot checks. Report equipment issues, material shortages, and damaged goods to supervisors. Remove waste and recyclable materials. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S standards. Requirements Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred but not required. Forklift certification is NOT required. Willingness to learn and follow workplace safety procedures. Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment (hot and cold temperatures). Ability to work around machinery, noise, and forklift traffic. Must wear safety glasses and steel-toe or composite-toe shoes. Must pass a 7-year background check and 10-panel drug test.
