Material Handler (Warehouse)

Role Overview: This position involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. It includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown, and acting as a liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed. Qualifications & Skills: No formal education or experience required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver packages of any weight using appropriate tools or help. Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders, and work in all weather conditions is essential. Effective communication in a noisy environment is necessary. Successful completion of basic and recurrency training is required. Key Duties Operate equipment for package movement safely and efficiently Assist with pallet buildup and breakdown of heavyweight freight Coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed Perform assigned tasks in all weather conditions and environments Operate motorized conveyances with a valid driver’s license Additional Requirements: Non-safety sensitive position; drug screening required; must stay alert and work safely.
