Material Handler - Sewer 1st Shift

This position is located at our Manufacturing plant in Temple, Tx. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler - Sewer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will safely operate industrial sewing machines and manage the end-to-end production of high-quality pillows and pet beds. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Position Description: Setup, adjust, and operate industrial sewing machines according to production order specifications. Inspect, catch, and evaluate finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Box, stack, and organize completed pillows and pet beds for shipment. Maintain a steady production pace on the line and perform routine machine cleaning and adjustments. Monitor workstation supplies and keep materials stocked to prevent downtime. Skills / Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials throughout the shift. Strong hand-eye coordination for precise grabbing, handling, and machine operation. Sharp reading, seeing, and hearing skills to follow orders and maintain a safe workspace. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
