Material Handler Production
DupontSUMMARY: Perform material handling for the tooling, assembly and warehousing areas. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Actively promote and drive a culture of safety Communicate and work to assure on time delivery targets and productivity rates are met Follow procedures and work instructions Ensure required paperwork is complete and accurate Ensure logs for the forklift are filled out daily Follow all safety rules when operating forklifts KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect tools and supplies from staging locations, verify that all items have been returned, place all items in proper warehouse location and log in. Assume responsibility for all governmental tooling audits. Pull tools and stage as requested. Safety move, lift and/or turn heavy molds with a forklift and/or overhead crane using eye bolts and chains. Move all inventoried materials via RF Scanner to facilitate appropriate IQMS transactions. Assist with loading/unloading of freight trucks (molds) as necessary using appropriate equipment. Ensure all receipts are accurately entered into IQMS. Receive Work in Process (WIP) parts returned from outside secondary operations. Use work orders to pull parts, components, supplies and stage as needed to support the production operation. Maintain the corrugated box area. Ensure the cleanliness of the tool storage area, stage area and box area. Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (Manager, Supervisor, Lead): None EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 -3 years forklift experience. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift/move up to 70 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
