Material Handler Post Frame

This position is Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional Fridays as needed. Starting Pay: $20 per hour Job Duties: Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE Operate forklift, pallet jack, dolly Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist Visually inspect material for any handling damage General knowledge of material specifics for identification and differentiation Move material to storage locations Delivery and distribution of commonly shared items Move material per inventory transfer as needed Keep work area clean Fill vertical and horizontal extrusion racks with supplies Perform assembly duties as needed Job Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to use common measuring tools, including calipers and tape measures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to positively influence others to follow company policies, procedures, and standards. Strong teamwork mentality Must be able to pass forklift certification PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift, excluding scheduled breaks. Ability to use multiple tools while working in various positions, including squatting, bending forward, and reaching to shoulder height. Visual abilities that include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth perception. Ability to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation. Frequent exposure to loud noise, dust, and debris associated with the production process. While performing the job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to lift, carry and stack material The employee is frequently required to reach with hands, arms and to bend at waist Frequently, employees must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. up to 50 feet Occasionally operator must be able to climb up and down forklifts
