Your responsibilities will include:
• Moving materials and inventory throughout the facility to support operations
• Utilizing hand trucks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment
• Performing tasks such as packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products
• Verifying orders, labeling products, and operating a handheld scanner
• Adhering to the 7S program
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Working safely to protect yourself and your team members
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
• To be at least 18 years old
• Basic math skills, with and without a calculator
• The ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedural documents
It would be an advantage if you also have:
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting
• A flexible schedule, including potential overtime
• Experience with handheld scanners
• A positive attitude and teamwork skills
This role requires the ability to:
• Lift various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull
• Handle tools or equipment
• Adapt to hot or cold warehouse environments
