Material Handler/Operator

Job Summary We are seeking an Operator to join our team at a battery plant in Kokomo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and moving parts, inventory, move, locate, relocate, stack, etc. Responsibilities - Safely and efficiently operate Big Joe (if applicable) - Safely operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment - Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete tasks - Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves - Adhere to OSHA standards and safety guidelines at all times - Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed - Operating pallet jacks Experience - Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting - Proficiency with warehouse management systems - Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory purposes - Experience operating Clamp trucks, fork lifts and Pallet jacks is a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental annual membership Health insurance Experience: Battery plant: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Experience: Battery plant: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
