Material Handler (Onsite: Lafayette, LA)

The Material Handler under direct supervision safely and effectively packages and ships produced product per product specifications, formulations, and/or customer requirements. Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience. Assignment Length: 12-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors. Responsibilities: Efficiently crate and uncrate parts for transportation and storage. Safely move parts using a crane to designated areas. Operate a forklift to transport materials and equipment as needed. Receive and unload raw materials essential for production processes, ensuring proper handling and storage. Qualifications: Proficient in operating a forklift. Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. Comfortable working in a loud environment.
