Material Handler - NOW HIRING

Handle movement and maintain storage of materials, supplies, tools and equipment to and from the work area as required. Set up and operate material handling equipment. Load/unload trucks as needed. Move material throughout the facility as needed. Proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, chains, slings, hooks, couplers, overhead bridged cranes, fork lifts. Verify accuracy of work per customer order. Perform routine preventive maintenance including, but not limited to, lubricating, cleaning and making minor adjustments and replacement of filters. Assist as required in upkeep of warehouse facility and break areas. Responsible for completing all work in a safe, timely, cost efficient and quality manner. Accurately complete all required documentation. Support and comply with company policies, programs, procedures and/or guidelines during performance of all duties. Report observed instances of non-compliance to Supervisor. Demonstrate safe work habits. Attend trainings and meetings as required. Cross-train on other areas in preparation for performing in a back-up capacity. Provide hands-on training as needed. Cooperate with all co-workers and management personnel in all areas and departments. Promote the best interests of the company and contribute to a positive work environment at all times.
