We’re looking for a Material Handler to join a growing manufacturing team in Dartmouth. This role is focused on preparing and organizing materials and components so production has exactly what it needs, when it needs it. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with small components, and enjoy a hands-on manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit. What you'll be doing Gather and prepare materials and components for production based on work orders and production schedules Verify quantities, part numbers, and materials before they move to assembly Build and organize kits for production, ensuring components are properly labelled and easy to access Maintain accurate records of materials used during the kitting process Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect materials and communicate issues to the inventory team Check materials for quality and ensure they meet production requirements Work closely with assembly and inventory teams to keep production moving Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy Help receive, organize, and locate materials as needed Keep the kitting and work areas clean, organized, and safe Cross-train to provide support in other areas of the inventory team, including shipping and receiving What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and pays close attention to the details. You’ll ideally bring: Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, material handling, or a similar environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and counting skills The ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good organizational and time-management skills Comfort working with small parts and components A willingness to learn and cross-train in different areas of the operation The ability to work effectively as part of a team A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience with electronic manufacturing, wire harnesses, electrical components, or production kitting would be an asset.
