Advanced Ground Systems EngineeringJOB SUMMARY A Material Handler is responsible for the storage, movement, and management of all materials, including raw material bases, cradles, components, and smaller details located in the outside inventory. Their main duties include pulling and verifying materials and supplies based on production orders, maintaining in-process inventory at work centers by delivering or opening products, and ensuring cleanliness in loading areas and machinery. Additionally, this role requires on-the-job training and the ability to provide training to new hires in the area. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and inspect incoming materials. Organize and maintain inventory. Retrieve and deliver materials to workstations or departments. Prepare and package materials for shipment. Collaborate with production teams for timely material delivery. Support process improvement initiatives. Provide training and guidance to team members. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of managing inventory and keeping records Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others. Pay close attention to detail when handling materials and checking records. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
