Material Handler - K1 - 2nd Shift
Kalas Manufacturing, Inc.Essential Functions: Obtain forklift certification. Assures all machines are supplied with copper and ensuring no production downtime. Transports in-process material. Loads and unloads interplant truck and receives materials from common carriers. Restores all received materials to stock areas, receives and ships material for UPS, and occasionally prepares other material for shipment. Maintains stock in an orderly fashion. Removes and replaces scrap boxes. Completes paperwork. Aware of Kalas’ environmental policy and what it means to them. Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional overtime may be required. Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook. Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules. Does cycle counting and makes adjustments to the MRP system.
