What You'll Do
As an Material Handler, you'll play a key role in building high-quality electrical switchgear systems and panels by:
Move sheet metal and smaller components by hand throughout the machine shop to support machine operators, fabricators, and painters
Use basic hand tools and power tools to assist with general labor tasks as needed
Support loading, unloading, and organizing materials in the warehouse and production areas
Assist with inventory movement, material organization, and keeping work areas clean and orderly
Stage materials at workstations to ensure production runs efficiently and on schedule
Work safely around forklifts and other material handling equipment operated by team members

Schedule
Day Shift: Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Night Shift Available:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Overtime opportunities available, with most employees working 11-hour shifts, 5-6 days per week.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-maintained manufacturing facility with open bay doors and ventilation fans to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes assemblers, machine operators, fabricators, quality control specialists, material handlers, and supervisors
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
