View the SENS Product Catalog The Material Handler II is the primary person responsible for transferring inventory between SENS warehouse and production locations. SENS' goal is to maintain approximately one to two weeks of parts in the factory warehouse, and extra stock at our backup warehouse. The Material Handler works with the production department to identify needed transfers. They create transfer transactions in the SyteLine ERP system, physically load and unload parts between warehouses, and restock the factory warehouse. Responsibilities: Driver - loads and unloads delivery truck of items for transfer between all facilities 5S & Safety – Keeps all areas clean and clear of debris and trash. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Ensure team is working safely and properly reporting any concerns or risks. Report all safety instances to HSE Manager and/or Warehouse Manager Assist and support fellow team members with material handling duties and responsibilities. Support production with material needs and communicating cross functionally. Execute cycle counting duties under the guidance of Material Handler III, Team Lead, Inventory Control, or Management. Including but not limited to counting, moving material, labeling, data collection and root cause analysis. Kanban Bin Restocking – performing ‘just-in-time’ material deliveries to production. Maintaining all Bin organization, fulfillment, and movements. Kitting – Filling and supporting all implemented line kitting, including PC2 line kits Physical movement of goods – delivering material to POU, putting material away in warehouse locations, unloading trucks with incoming material, organizing all warehouse/material areas (including racks, floor, and production areas), and supporting RMR material movements/organization. Pull materials needed per the request list to stage for production, kitting, kanban, or transfer on delivery vehicle. Receive incoming materials into ERP system. Complete movement transactions in ERP system for any physical location change of material, including all transfers and GL costing. Verify paperwork and transactions match the physical receipt of goods. Ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly with basic power tools. Create pull order for transfer items (review request list/hot list for additional needs or communication from other teams). Communicate pull order to Materials team and communicate any delays/issues with the ‘customer’ or other impacted parties (example - buyers). Identify open warehouse locations or any other defined location for products to utilize space, enhance FIFO, and reduce quality/safety issues. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and computer-based inventory systems. Experience working within ERP systems, preferabley Syteline Ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly with basic power tools. Ability to speak, read, and understand English as needed to perform the duties of the job. Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, and take initiative. Customer-focused team player with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Clean driving record & ability to drive 26ft box truck.
