Material Handler II

Description: Material Handler II 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am Position Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for the movement, tracking, and coordination of materials, supplies, and finished goods to support production and distribution operations. This role operates material handling equipment, manages inventory transactions, and ensures accurate and timely material flow across multiple work areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transport materials, supplies, and finished goods between workstations, storage areas, and shipping locations Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (as applicable) Move materials through production processes to maintain workflow and efficiency Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for storage or shipment Generate and process production tickets, labels, and related documentation Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and other production documents Perform inventory transactions, including issuing materials, returning unused materials, and maintaining stock accuracy Support inventory control processes and ensure data accuracy in ERP or related systems Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Properly dispose of scrap materials and packaging waste Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role Requirements: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role Forklift experience preferred (certification as required) Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred Required Skills and Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and interpret production documents (e.g., BOMs) Good organizational and time management skills Basic math and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment & Physical Demands Work performed in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift up to 55 pounds Operation of material handling equipment required Use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and other protective equipment Mayzon offers a competitive health care benefits package, a 401(k) plan, paid vacations and holidays, employee discounts, among other fringe benefits.
