Material Handler/Forklift Operator

As a Material Handler, your primary role is to keep the machines supplied with material while maintaining an adequate and orderly flow of raw materials and finished product between the warehouse and the Molding Department. Reporting to the Lead Material Handler, your job duties would include: · To keep the injection molding machines filled with raw material · Empty and clean out grinders as necessary, Assist Set-up personnel whenever possible · Assist in maintaining a clean atmosphere in the plant, particularly in and around the machines · Maintain color blenders and dryers · Other related duties which may be assigned by shift supervisor and/or their supervisor · Move finished product as required to designated staging areas · At completion of job, return all raw materials to designated area · Maintain floor packaging materials as required Candidate should have the following: · High School Diploma, or equivalent · Basic computer knowledge (some data entry required) · The ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as necessary · Strong organizational skills Must be able to use or learn in a reasonable amount of time, the safe operation of a fork truck.
