Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Primary duties will include: Operate forklifts and use handheld scanners to move and track materials efficiently. Supply departments with necessary materials and remove finished goods to proper destinations. Assist with inventory, box supplies, unloading trucks, and verifying incoming shipments. Perform safety checks on forklifts and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support department needs including responding to material calls and helping on the line as needed. Other duties as assigned Requirements: At least 1 year of related experience; forklift certification or ability to be certified required. Comfortable using basic technology like scanners, printers, and production schedules. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Must wear PPE and follow all safety protocols. High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred education: High School diploma is preferred, GED required. We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma. Schedule & Work Environment Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Summer Hours: On extremely hot days, shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM or 5:30 AM to allow the majority of work to be completed before peak heat. All candidates must be available to work during these adjusted hours when needed. Environment: This is a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Temperatures inside the facility reflect outside weather conditions—hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are: Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold. Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them. Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
