About MJM Logistics MJM Logistics, LLC is a growing logistics, warehousing, and transportation company located in Chillicothe, Ohio. We provide warehouse management, material handling, inventory control, and transportation services supporting the manufacturing industry. We are currently seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Material Handlers / Forklift Operators on either 1st or 2nd Shift. This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including: Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and organize materials throughout the facility. Loading and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing materials for transportation. Material Sequencing: Organize, stage, and sequence materials according to production schedules and customer requirements. Inventory Management: Assist with tracking, counting, and documenting inventory to maintain accurate records. Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage, defects, and accuracy during receiving, storage, and shipment. Order Preparation: Pick, stage, and prepare materials for scheduled deliveries. Equipment Inspections: Complete required daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment concerns to management. Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse spaces, equipment, and work areas. Documentation: Complete inventory records, shipping paperwork, and other required operational documentation. Teamwork: Work closely with unit leads, management, drivers, and fellow employees to maintain efficient daily operations. General Warehouse Duties: Assist with facility maintenance, cleaning, organizing, and other operational responsibilities as assigned. Employees may be assigned to different areas of the facility or assist with additional projects based on operational needs. Qualifications and Requirements We are looking for candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications: Previous warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience. Forklift operating experience preferred, but not required. Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Additional Requirements: Must be dependable and report to work consistently and on time. Must be willing to follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. Must be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment. Must be willing to perform physical warehouse duties and assist in other areas as needed. Must maintain a professional attitude and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Forklift certification is not required to apply. MJM Logistics provides on-site forklift training and certification for employees who do not already possess the necessary qualifications.
