We’re looking for a dependable Material Handler and Forklift Operator to help keep our production teams supplied and our warehouse and yard running smoothly. Variety throughout your day: Work across receiving, production support, inventory, and yard operations. What You’ll Do Keep production moving: Pick, stage, and deliver parts and materials to production lines and workstations. Put your forklift skills to use: Safely load, unload, and move materials, truck bodies, and large or awkward loads. Receive and inspect deliveries: Check quantities and part numbers against receiving documents and report damage or discrepancies. Support inventory accuracy: Stock and label materials, record inventory movements, and assist with cycle counts. Stay ahead of shortages: Communicate material needs and help replenish production stock areas. Support shipping and yard operations: Prepare outgoing shipments, organize materials, and move truck chassis between shop bays and designated parking areas when authorized. Keep the workplace safe: Complete forklift inspections and maintain clean, organized storage areas, aisles, and grounds. What You Bring Previous forklift operating experience and a strong commitment to safe work practices. Attention to detail when checking parts, counting inventory, and handling materials. The ability to work independently and coordinate priorities with Purchasing and Production. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory software; NetSuite experience is a plus. The ability to read work orders, packing slips, part numbers, and basic measurements. A valid driver’s license and dependable attendance. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience. Warehouse, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Schedule Monday–Thursday OR Tuesday–Friday 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. , including a 30-minute unpaid meal period. The assigned schedule depends on operational needs. Additional hours may be required based on production and customer demand. Physical Requirements This is an active position in manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor yard areas. Work includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, getting on and off equipment, and handling materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Mechanical lifting equipment or team assistance is used as needed for safe handling. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
