Material Handler

Material Handler – 2nd Shift Multiple Locations Available New Hudson Facades is currently hiring 2nd Shift Material Handlers to support our growing manufacturing operations. We have opportunities available across multiple locations . Material Handlers play an important role in keeping production moving by ensuring materials and products are safely received, stored, transported, and delivered throughout the facility. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires employees to be on their feet throughout the shift and comfortable performing physically demanding work. What You'll Do Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the plant, yard, warehouse, and production areas. Supply production areas with the materials and products needed to maintain efficient operations. Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, shelves, containers, and vehicles. Transport materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, carts, hoists, and other material-handling equipment. Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to determine materials and products that need to be moved. Secure materials for transportation using strapping, bracing, padding, and other appropriate methods. Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, logistics, and inventory activities as needed. Lift and move materials manually or with appropriate lifting equipment. Assist with assembling crates and packaging products for storage or shipment. Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and material storage locations. Operate industrial trucks, electric hoists, or similar equipment when trained and authorized. Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers. What We're Looking For Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Dependable and self-motivated. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Strong practical problem-solving skills. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other physically demanding tasks. Ability to stand and remain active throughout the workday. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2nd Shift Opportunities We are currently hiring for 2nd Shift Material Handler positions at multiple locations .
