WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Material Handler on our Production Control Team, you'll play an important role in keeping materials and parts moving efficiently throughout the production process. You'll pull kits of parts and materials, maintain work-station inventory, and ensure parts are delivered to the correct work centers accurately and on time. Thisis a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, keeping things organized, and working as part of a team. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to learn new skills and advance within the company. Responsibilities Move aircraft parts and materials from Receiving to their assigned inventory locations Deliver completed kits of parts and assemblies to their appropriate inventory locations Move aircraft parts, materials, and assemblies between departments and work centers Safely move materials weighing up to 40 lbs. between carts, shelves, and work areas Perform basic inventory updates using a computer system Complete routine inventory counts and verify quantities Maintain clean, organized, and accurate inventory areas Follow established processes and procedures to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Requirements Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Strong time-management and organizational skills Friendly, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
