Material Handler

POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures equipment is in a safe operating condition by performing daily prechecks. Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments and staging / placement of materials within docking area. Review the computerized work list for the equipment, must be able to locate available material. Prepares inventory, screens and identifies shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and directs shipments to shipping or storage areas. May be required to store hazardous materials. Operates hand and stationary power tools. Use of FIFO inventory management to ensure oldest material is used first. Follow all safety policies and procedures required. Other duties assigned by management.
