Material Handler – Steel Fabrication JackRabbit Manufacturing, LLC — Bryan, TX Pay: $19.00 – $22.75/hour | Full-Time | On-Site About Us JackRabbit Manufacturing is a steel fabrication shop in Bryan, TX. We’re looking for a dependable Material Handler to keep our shop supplied with the right material, in the right place, at the right time. About the Role Material Handler is the starting role of our Pre-Fabrication team. You’ll receive, identify, stage, and move the raw steel that feeds production. This is a great fit for someone with warehouse or shop experience who wants a real career path — not just a job. What You’ll Do Receive and check incoming material against packing lists and purchase orders Read cut lists and pull sheets to find the right material by type, grade, and size Stage material ahead of production so jobs never wait Move material safely using forklift, overhead crane, carts, and hand equipment Verify grade and heat/traceability markings when required Log material transactions and keep inventory and location records accurate Help with cycle counts and keep staging areas clean and organized (5S) Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Warehouse, material-handling, or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift/crane certification preferred — or willingness to get certified when hired Able to read cut lists, pull sheets, and material markings Basic math, measuring, and accurate record-keeping Able to lift up to 50 lbs on your own (more with help) Reliable attendance — we take on-time seriously Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM 45 hours/week, including 5 hours of scheduled overtime What We Offer Starting pay $19.00/hr, with clear milestone raises up to $22.75/hr Raise reviews at 3 months, 12 months, then yearly A real career ladder — Material Handlers can move up into CNC Operator and Pre-Fab Lead roles $500 boot voucher Paid on-the-job equipment training and certification Apply today and grow your career with JackRabbit Manufacturing!
