Material Handler (Clean Background)

Responsibilities Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA safety protocols. Operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology to accurately track inventory levels and update records in real-time. Pick and pack orders efficiently using order picker equipment to meet shipping deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by inspecting inbound shipments for accuracy and quality, then storing items appropriately. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of materials to ensure proper placement and storage within the warehouse. Maintain organized inventory storage areas, perform regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies promptly. Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during material handling activities. Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred. (Not required) Proven skills in order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane systems, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and load & unload machinery. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Familiarity with warehouse technology including RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems (WMS). Previous supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor or team lead is a plus but not required. Knowledge of OSHA standards related to materials handling and workplace safety protocols.
