Material Handler

We are hiring a Material Handler – Processing to support production and warehouse operations at a regulated manufacturing facility in Burlington. The successful candidate will supply, stage, track, and reconcile materials throughout the production process. Candidates with experience in order picking, packing, shipping, and temperature-controlled environments , including work in temperatures as low as -20°C , are preferred. Responsibilities Supply materials to processing rooms and suites. Monitor processing schedules and ensure materials are staged and delivered on time. Work with warehouse staging personnel to support the release, staging, and movement of materials. Remove finished goods from processing suites. Print and apply product labels. Enter finished goods and material information into the ERP system. Count and reconcile packaging jobs accurately. Confirm material consumption in the ERP system. Maintain accurate production and reconciliation records. Keep processing areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards. Follow all GMP, SOP, quality, and safety requirements. Report potential hazards and unsafe conditions. Work collaboratively with Processing and Warehouse teams. Perform alternating or rotating shift work. Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate. Minimum one year of warehouse experience. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, or another regulated production environment is preferred. Experience with order picking, packing, and shipping is preferred. Experience working in temperature-controlled environments is an asset. Previous experience operating manual or electric lift trucks is an asset. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good mathematical and counting skills. Strong organizational and reconciliation skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and workplace safety regulations. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds. Regular exposure to temperature variations, including cold environments. Possible exposure to dust, noise, bright lights, fumes, or odors. Ability to read labels, records, and production documentation. Use of personal protective equipment is required. PPE may include safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coats, gloves, hair nets, beard covers, safety aprons, and respirators. What We Offer $20.50 per hour. Full-time 12-month contract opportunity.
