Job Title: Material Handler-Cargo
Location: Goffs, NS
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: 7:00AM
What's the Job?
• Load and unload aircrafts and trucks as part of daily cargo freight operations.
• Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently to support freight movement.
• Lift and move packages repeatedly (up to 60 lbs) while maintaining safe handling practices.
• Sort packages by customer, airport of destination, and other required parameters; communicate piece counts and package information to Lead Hands and Supervisors.
• Handle customer packages and freight with due care and attention, ensuring all safety and security protocols are followed.
What's Needed?
• High School Graduate or equivalent experience.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence (or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance) and be willing to complete a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and work in and around aircraft daily.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent punctuality and attendance, and flexibility to work shift work, weekends, and stat holidays.
