Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler, where you will work B Crew shifts from Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 2:30am. Enjoy working four 10-hour shifts, with overtime opportunities available on your unscheduled day and occasionally on weekends if required. Please note, steel-toed shoes are mandatory from day one.
Responsibilities

• Stage material for shipping.
• Monitor the production process.
• Perform other production-related activities as instructed by management.
• Clean and organize the workplace.
• Complete final packaging of products following work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.
• Comply with continuous training within the production department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
• Material handling experience.
• Ability to operate RF scanners.
• Loading and general labor skills.
• Experience in general production processes.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively and squat/bend/duck.
• Good attendance record.

Work Environment
Work in a 30,000 sq. ft warehouse located off the manufacturing floor, within a fully renovated and spotless facility. Enjoy the comfort of a climate-controlled environment in a space leased within the old GM Pontiac building.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pontiac, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.35 - $18.35/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
