Material Handler
GS MedicalAbout the Role GS Medical is seeking a Material Handler to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This onsite role in California ensures that raw materials, components, and finished implants are received, stored, and delivered accurately to production lines. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment , where speed and accuracy are critical to maintaining workflow and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming materials, including metals, polymers, and surgical implants. Store and organize materials in accordance with company procedures and ISO 13485 requirements. Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines, and assembly teams quickly and accurately. Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts. Ensure proper labeling, traceability, and documentation for all controlled medical materials. Assist in shipping finished products, including preparing materials for sterilization, packaging, and distribution. Support material quality inspections and report discrepancies or nonconformances. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production support area. Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to support continuous workflow improvements. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. 1–5 years of experience in warehouse, production support, or material handling, preferably in medical devices or regulated industries. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy. Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP/WMS software. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance (ISO 13485). Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment. Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment. Basic understanding of inventory control, lot traceability, and production workflow.
