Ultratec, Inc.Material Handler – 1st Shift Location: Madison, WI Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:30 AM–9:30 AM Schedule benefit: Friday afternoon + weekends off Join a Stable Manufacturing Team We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to help keep production running smoothly in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll make sure production departments have the materials they need, while helping maintain accurate inventory and supporting daily receiving and stockroom activities. This is a hands-on position that is well suited for someone with warehouse, material handling, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or production experience . What You'll Do Pick and replenish materials for production departments Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and quality Enter inventory transactions using ERP/computer systems Maintain accurate inventory records and organized material storage Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy Safely operate appropriate material handling equipment Support receiving, stockroom, and material handling activities Follow 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Basic computer, data entry, English, and math skills Experience working with ERP systems is helpful; QAD experience is a plus Strong attention to detail, particularly with numbers and data entry Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with a positive, can-do attitude Ability to safely operate material handling equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the workday Ability to bend, reach, climb steps, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally Why Join Us? $20/hour Monday–Thursday first shift Short Friday morning — Friday afternoon and weekends off Stable, full-time schedule Clean manufacturing environment Hands-on, active work Opportunity to learn and grow If you have experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, material handling, manufacturing, or production , we'd like to hear from you.
