Material Handler
Hill ElectricJob Summary As a Material Handler, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, organizing, and moving materials safely and accurately. You’ll support warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, and order picking while using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Making deliveries and picking up material from our supply houses will also be part of your daily routine. Your impact: Accurate material movement helps warehouse teams fulfill orders and keep shipments on schedule. Responsibilities Load and unload materials, move products to designated storage or shipping areas, and complete manual handling and heavy lifting safely. Pick orders, verify items Operate material handling equipment according to training, site procedures, and applicable safety protocols. Support shipping and receiving by checking materials, organizing pallets, and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods. Maintain an orderly work area and follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and workplace safety procedures. Experience Must have a valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, materials handling, and order picking are helpful. Basic math skills and the ability to verify quantities and record inventory. Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, Bucket Truck Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting while following safety protocols.
