Material Handler

BONUSES: -Sign On $300 Payable after 60 days of employment -Production Incentive averaging $5.00 per hour worked -Attendance Up to $1.25 per hour for each scheduled hour worked Job Duties: · Move stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors or other equipment · Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information · Stack cargo in locations such as transit sheds as directed using skids · Install protective devices such as bracing, padding or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported · Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery · Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, platforms, lifting devices or other transport vehicles · Position lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. · Perform tasks assigned by group leader/supervisor · Responsible for o Quality and quantity of work produced o Completing and submitting production reports and other records as required o Maintaining work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition o Following all safety rules and regulations Required Skills · Experience driving a forklift · Communicate (read, write, speak) the English language · 18 years of age or older · Lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis · Use both hands/arms and legs to lift parts · Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs, or kneel · Work 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus occasional overtime · Pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening Work Location: One location Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $21.25 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Referral program Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have one year or more of full-time experience primarily driving a forklift?
