Material Handler

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role involves managing parts organization and staging, operating overhead cranes, and ensuring efficient handling of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of lifting and carrying at least 50 pounds and will play a vital role in maintaining smooth production workflows through effective material management. Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently to move heavy materials and equipment within the facility. Organize and stage parts to ensure they are readily accessible for production or shipping needs. Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking parts and materials. Pick, pack, and transport materials as required, maintaining proper safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and support overall operational goals. Skills Proven experience operating overhead cranes is preferred. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds regularly. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in parts staging and inventory management. Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to material handling and crane operation. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Pay: $12.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
