Duties Safely load, unload, and move materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to OSHA safety protocols. Operate material handling equipment including RF scanners, heavy machinery, and manual tools to pick, pack, and organize inventory. Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and updating records through warehouse management systems. Prepare shipments by sorting, labeling, and staging products for delivery or storage; ensure proper documentation for shipping & receiving processes. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by following safety standards and best practices for manual handling and heavy lifting. Support warehouse operations by assisting team members with order picking and load & unload activities to meet daily productivity goals. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks. Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for order picking and stock control. Previous roles involving shipping & receiving duties or warehouse operations are highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling procedures. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring materials, and verifying shipment quantities. Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles are a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within warehouse management.
