Material Handlers are responsible for receiving shipments, loading and unloading goods and machines, stocking material and emptying scrap bins as required. You may be operating a forklift and will be required to perform pre-use forklift inspections or doing manual material handling tasks. Basic Fabrication work as required. You will have: A High School Diploma or equivalent. A License to operate a Forklift an asset (Forklift experience required). Ability to read blueprints. Basic math skills. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. Good communication abilities. Knowledge of relative safety standards. A high energy level, a positive attitude and ability to work without direct supervision. Ability to work well with others as a member of a team as well as independently. Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred. Shifts (multiple shifts available) non-rotating: Days – Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Afternoons - Monday to Friday: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Nights – Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00 am Shift Premium $0.80 Afternoons, $1.05 Nights We offer a full and competitive benefits package after the probation period, including: Extended Health Care.
