Material Handler

Job Summary The Material Handler supports ripsaw operations by catching wood as it exits the machine, returning selected parts to the operator, and organizing finished pieces and scrap. This hands-on role helps keep material moving through the work area and supports an orderly production flow. Duties Catch wood safely as it exits the ripsaw. Return designated parts to the machine operator. Stack materials on pallets and buggies. Place scrap pieces in the scrap box. Keep materials sorted and the immediate work area orderly. Your impact: Careful handling helps the operator maintain a steady workflow and keeps usable material organized. Skills Able to handle and sort wood pieces throughout the shift. Attentive to changing material flow around operating equipment. Follows workplace safety procedures and equipment-area instructions. Communicates clearly with the ripsaw operator. Dependable, organized, and comfortable with hands-on production work.
