Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team in Cut Off, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Lumber in a Saw Mill Environment. Must have a strong focus on safely and efficiently handling raw materials and finished products within a saw mill or yard environment. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move lumber and other materials within the saw mill or yard. Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect materials for quality and report any damages or discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience as a Saw Mill Material Handler or Yard Hand preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
