Material Handler

Job Overview As a Material Handler, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, organizing, and delivering materials where they’re needed. You’ll use warehouse distribution processes and material handling equipment to support accurate, safe order fulfillment. This active role involves manual handling and heavy lifting, along with operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes when trained and authorized. Duties Load and unload shipments; support shipping and receiving, order picking, and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Operate material handling equipment and heavy equipment according to site procedures and applicable safety protocols. Inspect materials and equipment, keep work areas organized, and promptly report hazards or discrepancies. Your impact: Accurate handling and inventory tracking help warehouse teams fulfill orders reliably and keep materials available for the people who need them. Qualifications Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations or warehouse distribution are preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is an additional asset. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, clamp trucks, cranes, or other heavy equipment is preferred. Operate equipment only when trained and authorized. Able to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely, follow safety protocols, and understand applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Basic math skills and comfort using an RF scanner to count, identify, and track materials.
