Material Handler
Cal Tech Precision, Inc.Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Handler to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating material, schedules & tools. This candidate will also be familiar with shop environments. Duties Utilize forklift (Forklift Certified) in a warehouse machine shop environment. Preform monthly inventory counts Identify defective material Records accurate information when signing for and receiving shipments Works with purchasing and communicates any discrepancies Relocate excess material as needed Ensures material/tooling is staged and accessible per machining schedule Other duties as assigned. Skills Effective verbal and written communication skills. English (Required), Spanish a plus. Great attention to detail Basic computer skills Basic knowledge of ERP system Forklift certification Excellent problem-solving skills Bilingual in Spanish is not required but a plus Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
