Material Handler

Role Summary We are looking for a focused and precise Material Handler to support operations at our Colonial Heights, VA, 23834 location. You will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient movement of goods across our site. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and possesses a strong interest in inventory control and logistics. Core Duties Process, verify, and record all incoming shipments and supplies. Keep storage zones orderly and properly stocked. Operate forklifts and related machinery to transport items securely. Ready goods for transit to help ensure high-quality, accurate deliveries. Support the team by performing routine inventory audits and counts. Work alongside colleagues to help improve overall operational productivity. Follow all safety guidelines to help maintain a secure workspace for the entire team. Experience with forklifts is considered an advantage. Requirements Completion of high school or an equivalent credential is preferred. Prior background in warehouse tasks or material handling is beneficial. Capable of using forklifts and other equipment, with certification being a plus. Demonstrated organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail. Physical capacity to handle heavy items and complete manual tasks as needed. Strong interpersonal skills to help foster a collaborative team environment. Fundamental computer literacy for managing inventory software.
