Maintains the integrity of inventory levels through regular cycle counts, physical inventory as well as daily transaction completion per company procedure.Nature of Duties:Receives, unpacks and checks materials against purchase orders or invoicesMaintains records of received materials in computer database and rejects unsatisfactory itemsStacks or piles materials, such as pallets Lifts heavy items and may operate a pallet jackStocks materials in designated storage areas on racks and shelvesDistributes and collects materials to/from Assemblers on repair linesRecords data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locationsUpdates inventory adjustments into computer databaseTroubleshoots quantity discrepancies with Operations and Planning personnelCompletes monthly cycle count and updates adjustments into computer databaseNotifies appropriate personnel when material quantities are lowPrepares and participates in yearly physical inventoryPeriodically checks for unsafe conditions and corrects as neededPractices proper lifting techniques and safe working habitsAdditional duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring :High School diploma or equivalent required1-2 years experienceMust have good computer skillsMust be organized and detail-orientedMust be able to use a pallet jackMust have fork lift kowledgeMust be reliableMust be able to lift 50 lbsPhysical Demands:Work is performed in a warehouse environment with moving PITs. Required to stand, walk, sit and use stair ladders; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. May need to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Why Join Us?
